About ProteoCosmos

ProteoCosmsos is an interactive visualization tool for exploring the multi-scale, hierarchical structure of the human protein-protein interaction network. The visualization software is developed by Brad Krajina at BK SciViz.

ProteoCosmos is built on open protein-protein interaction data from STRING, and integrates this data with structural ontological data from Human Protein Atlas, UniprotKB, PAN-GO, Gene Ontology, and AlphaFold DB. Please visit the “Data Sources” section of this site to learn more about the open data ProteoCosmsos is built on.

The goal of ProteoCosmos is to provide a fluid and dynamic way to traverse the complex, hierarchical structure of the protein interaction network: from the high-level clusters of densely interacting proteins, to the individual protein-level networks that comprise those communities.

ProteoCosmos is developed and funded independently by BK SciViz. It is not sponsored or endorsed by any of the authors and licensors listed in Data Sources.
